Stirling FauxOriginally from Toronto, Stirling has been a West Coast person since 1974, happily based in Vancouver, building a career and raising a family. His broadcasting career has involved both music and talk radio, along with TV and new media. As a performer Stirling has enjoyed success in radio, television, voice and on-camera work, as well as appearing in dozens of commercials. Additionally Stirling has developed his abilities off-air as a teacher and PR consultant.

Stirling did his first national radio/TV commercial in Toronto in the fall of ’72. Then represented by The Characters talent agency, he began what has become a lifelong career of voice work. Stirling was the Vancouver Canucks PA announcer in the early 1980’s and was the BC Lions PA announcer for their 60th season in 2013.

Stirling is bilingual and has performed duties for the Prime Minister’s Office, including as MC for the APEC Summit Dinner in Vancouver in 1997. He was Moderator for World Meet ’01 for the World Lottery Association, and more recently was PA announcer for CIS/SIC for the Vanier Cup Game in 2012. Stirling’s linguistic abilities have been useful in securing voice work in both official languages for his entire career.
